Lets air circulate freely, improving oxygen levels in your rainwater tank.
More efficient water flow
As water flows into your tank it displaces air inside. The vent cowl lets that air escape, which is especially useful where incoming pipework is plumbed directly into the tank without any other opening for air to vent.
