RainHarvesting
Background Image

Everything that secures, protects and quietly looks after your stored rainwater.

On Tank

The tank is where all the work you have done so far gets stored. Our Rain Harvesting™ On Tank range covers the inlets, overflows, vents and outlets that secure your tank from insects, vermin, sunlight and stormwater, plus the in-tank components that help your stored water stay calm and easy to draw from. Quiet, hard-working hardware that does its job for years without asking much in return.

Every entry, exit and opening, properly secured.

Securing the tank means protecting every entry, exit and opening. At the inlet, a tank screen keeps insects, vermin and debris out while a solar shield blocks the sunlight that drives algae growth. At the overflow, correctly sized outlets and flap valves let water leave cleanly, and an Air Gap stops stormwater flowing back into a tank connected to the mains. Vents let the tank breathe and outlets let you draw water when you need it, so every opening is accounted for and your stored water stays clean.

A secure tank is a clean tank.

Why it matters

Tank screens and solar shields

Tank screens use 955 micron (0.955mm) stainless steel mesh to keep insects, vermin and debris out at the inlet. Solar shields block direct sunlight, which slows algae growth and creates a calm entry point so incoming water does not disturb settled sediment. Together they protect water quality at the most vulnerable point of your tank.

Tank overflows, flap valves and Air Gaps

Your overflow needs to handle the same flow rate as your inlet during heavy rainfall. Properly sized tank overflows and flap valves let water exit cleanly, while an Air Gap stops stormwater from ever flowing back in during a storm event. Essential for any tank connected to stormwater mains.

Maelstrom® filters and tank fittings

Maelstrom® filters deliver superfine pre-tank filtration down to 180 microns, with 96% water catchment even at 10 litres per second. Combined with vent cowls, tank outlets and overflow screens, they keep your stored rainwater consistently clean for years of use.
